Story

On the 2nd of August a team of 8 people from Accenture UK will be taking part in this year’s London Triathlon (Tim Cooper, James Morris, Kourosh Dara, Claire Roberts, John Millington, Mark Rotheram, Sarah Odell and Sara Kopra).  This will involve a 1500m swim through the murky waters of the Thames, followed by a gruelling 40k bike ride and to top it all off a 10k run!  If you want to find out more about the event, including how to come along and cheer the guys along, please visit http://www.thelondontriathlon.co.uk/

The team will be raising money for the Princess Royal Trust for Carers (PRTC) who provide vital support services for people (both young and old) who take on a full time carer role for a friend or family member.  For more information on some of the great work the PRTC do, please visit http://www.carers.org/

We have set ourselves a significant fund-raising target and every little helps, so please please sponsor those taking part.  Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The PRTC gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
