Hello friends & family,

After ten years of declaiming, "I am so going to do the Marathon next year. It looks quite easy," and then quietly forgetting to sort it out through a combination of fear and laziness, I am finally, actually doing this thing in April 09. 

I ran a half marathon last September and as you can see from the photo, it was child's play. Now it's time for the real deal. With the 2012 Olympics coming up I thought raising money for young Londoners with sporting dreams would be a noble quest. I hope you all agree. If you don't , why not donate what you can to witness a freaky physical transformation & indulge in your schadenfreude as the misery and pain of this mission starts to hit home, (probably around mid February).
