Story
As you may have heard, Adam, James and Daniel are driving 1,800 miles over
7 days from London to Corfu on 24th May in the aid of raising money for War Child - http://www.warchild.org.uk/ Sounds completely pointless? Well the key is that we will be doing it in a car valued at no more than £400 - actually getting to Corfu is no certainty. Rest assured, if we do get there we will be rewarding ourselves with a bit of a holiday though.
We will be travelling through the following countries, several of which themselves have been affected by war and conflict over the past 25 years or so - Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Croatia, Bosnia, Albania, Macedonia and Greece.
Whilst we wouldn't normally require any excuses to drive across Europe in a rusty old banger, there is of course a charity involved and all money donated will go straight to War Child. We have already covered all expenses ourselves - £400 for a car is cheap, but try getting it insured in 9 different countries! We could moan about the price of oil these days, but you get the idea.
Expenses aside, it would be nice to think that we did it for more than just the memories and a burning hole in our pockets.
Remember that all contributions will receive a tax credit whilst you the donor will recieve an enormous sense of well being for doing your bit. The journey might sound daft, but the cause isn't.
Any amount will be a great help so please sponsor.
