I am running the Half Marathon in Budapest on the 5th September and having run the event last year and achieved a time of 2hrs 11mins, I am hoping to go faster and even break the 2hr barrier. This year to provide me with some extra motivation, I am running on behalf of the Not Forgotten Association.

The Association was founded in 1919 with the aim of providing ‘comfort, cheer and entertainment for the wounded ex-servicemen still in hospital as a result of the Great War’.

Whilst times have changed since 1919,  the Association's mission remains the same and it still looks to provide leisure and recreation for wounded serving and ex-service men
and women with disabilities 

Last year it provided “Entertainment” to over 9,000 people.

I hope that you will agree that this is a very worthwhile cause that I am running for, so please dig deep and sponsor me to help the Association continue to provide leisure and entertainment to those who have been injured whilst serving in the UK Armed Forces.
