Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
WE HAVE REACHED THE TARGET!!! (But don't let that deter you!! ;0) )
In June 2009, Koye, Anu, Dapo and I remembered and celebrated the life of my mother, Abosede Olatokunbo Atewologun (nee Kehinde). 15 years ago, she left us suddenly. We are blessed to have been touched by her.
In memory of her smile, her distinctive laugh and her beautiful voice, I set up this page to enable children in developing countries experience the gift of a smile. We take smiles for granted, but, like my mum's, they leave a lasting impression and bring such joy.
Cleft palates can be fixed in a simple straightforward operation, but give a child a life-changing experience...the ability to Smile. It costs £150 to change one child's life through surgery - I'm hoping WE CAN CHANGE THE LIVES OF TEN!!!! So help me get there...! Donating to The Smile Train through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to raise money in her memory: The Smile Train gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for all your support.
Love,
Doyin
