Hi there,

When we’re not busy producing superb world renowned healthcare software (shameless plug!), we like to demonstrate our lack of physical prowess by entering charity events such as ‘The Norwich Dragon Boat Festival’.

We’re attempting to raise as much cash as possible for a local children’s charity, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).  EACH offer a range of services to support children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions and their families.

We’ve assembled a world class line up, which reads like a ‘who’s who’ in the world of Dragon Boat Racing to take the title and honour of Dragon Boat Racing Champions.

Click to view the crew.

No expense has been spared in the training preparation of our champions.  Using team manager Gary Batterbee ’s innovative training techniques and methods, our guys and girls are ready to do battle against Norfolk ’s finest.

All sponsorship money will go directly to EACH.  The cost of entry and other associated costs (the t-shirts needed to be good!) have been covered by Anglia, so none of your donations will go into making AHSL Team Oarsome the fastest boat on the water – we’ll take care of that ourselves! ;-)

Please splash out and support us in our challenge to raise as much money as possible for EACH.

If you’d like to find out more about our charity please see http://www.each.org.uk/

To find out more about the event see here http://www.dragonboatfestivals.co.uk/norwich/index.html

As further incentive to donate, alongside the messages of encouragement you can leave in the guestbook, please nominate the AHSL Team Oarsome member you would like to see thrown into the water at the end of the event.  The person with the highest value of donations against their name will be thrown into the water for your enjoyment!  A full report of the day with pictures will go out to all donors.

Cheers!

Alexis Atkinson, Chris Hosier , Melissa Varley , Gary Batterbee , Wincy Batterbee, Simon Ottaway , Luke Girvin, Ben Wilson , Tony Sadd , Vicky Nicholson, Matt Sutton, Sarah Leggett , Bernie Perrett (AHSL Team Oarsome)

p.s.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: East Anglia's Children's Hospices will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
