A BIG THANK YOU FOR CLICKING    -  WE DID IT!!

Into  the most spectacular blue skies we dropped out of a plane from over 12,000 feet one after the other, free fell at around 120 mph for 7,000 feet, jerked back up into the air above us as parachutes opened at 5,000 feet and then glided gently to terra firma

Exhilarating and terrifying at the same time - much nervous laughter, screams and euphoric grins.  Some swore never again and some cannot  wait to get back up in the sky but all of us agreed it was extraordinary and hugely worthwhile.  

We explained about Centrepoint to everyone who spotted our T shirts and painted their logo on our outstretched hands to remind us "why" as we hurtled towards the ground!

You may have read already that Centrepoint is the firm's chosen corporate charity and we have been working with them for over a year now. Various sensible initiatives are underway such as a mentoring programme, work experience opportunities and  more traditional fund-raising events but the generosity of our donors to date for this particular venture has been as extraordinary as the day was for us all

None of us have been as vulnerable as these homeless young people - we work in a world where 8.59 is the start of a committed working day. It is nice to be working with a charity that aims to give something back and give these young people help and assistance to push their lives forward
