I'm growing a beard for a month!     A few of the guys in Quarriers football team are doing likewise and we have eached picked a Quarriers project to raise money for.  (Someone once said I look like Richie Cunningham, Matt Damon, Oliver Kahn?  Any suggestions welcome!)   If anyone wants to tickle my beard when it is fully grown I'm happy to take bookings.

I'm raising money for the Break-a-way fathers group based in Dumfries and Galloway.

The Fathers group are a group of Dad's who care for a child with a long-term illness or disability.  The Dad's are full-time carers and come from all over Dumfries and Galloway to be part of the father's group.

The Dad's often feel exhausted, isolated and in many cases suffer a family break up due to the strains placed on their family.  They need respite, care, support, regular breaks, advice and a friend to listen to them.  Quarriers Father's group provides them with the support they need.

The Dad's often take part in activities with their kid's.  One example is Chariots of Fire in Dumfries.  The money I raise will go to their activities fund which causes a dramatic improvement in the quality of the Dad's and children's lives.
