I just want to say thanks to everyone for their support!!!!  I have managed to raise SO much money and it's thanks to you guys!!  I never thought I would get as much as this!!!

Under 48 hours till I get to the airfield....starting to feel nervous.....something to do with all the life insurance emails that are coming through  Ach...I'm sure it will be fine

I still can't actually believe I am going to do this!!   I must be mad!!!!!

I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 13 years old.  Since then I have been testing my my blood glucose several times a day and depending on multiple daily insulin injections - just to stay alive.

However insulin is not a cure for this horrible condition, and it does not protect me against complications such as blindness, amputation and kidney disease.

Insulin gives people with diabetes a chance.  Only research will give them a cure.  JDRF was founded to advance research necessary to find a cure. 

I would not wish this condition on anyone, far less innocent little children.  Please dig deep to help fund this cause.
