Story

On 7th April 2024, I will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation. I'm honoured to have been selected to represent the charity and be given the opportunity to contribute towards their campaign for legislative change.

The JE3 Foundation was established by the family of Justin Edinburgh, the former Tottenham defender and Leyton Orient manager. Whilst training in the gym, Justin suffered a cardiac arrest and - without access to a defibrillator on site - was rushed to hospital. Six days later, on June 8th 2019, he passed away.

Propelled by the life and legacy of Justin, the JE3 Foundation pursues one goal: increased survival following cardiac arrest.

The JE3 Foundation aims to support UK heart health charities and to campaign for legislative change - Justin's Law - to make it compulsory for all health, fitness and sports facilities to be equipped with a Public Access Defibrillator (PAD).

Their ambitions are big and their solutions robust. They empower people and organisations to act quickly and knowledgeably when witness to cardiac arrest, by increasing access to life saving defibrillators, and delivering CPR training.

Your donation is the game-changer. Help the JE3 Foundation get defibrillators and CPR skills into the community.

Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.

About the charity
