Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm really looking forward to this trip - it is plan 'B' tho as I was planning to raise funds for the same charity but by running the London Marathon '09 but recently found out that my application was not successful  :-(  so here I am planning to 'Trek Kilimanjaro'!!  To raise the money I am planning to:  hold a coffee morning, raffle, go bag packing in Asda, collect donations and sponsors from anywhere and everywhere!!  My family are being supportive and have lots of ideas but time is short.......so anything you may wish to donate would be very gratefully received.

Alzheimers Society is now a charity very important to me as my Grandad had Dementia and sadly passed away June 04 and now Nan has Alzheimers, so that is why I have chosen to support this charity in particular.  My Mum and Sister run a successful support group for carers and sufferers of Alzheimer's, but due to work committments, I cannot show my support in this way!  So I decided to do my bit by climbing Kilimanjaro, your genorosity and support is vital in this becoming a successful mission, remember every pound counts!

Please be generous.  These days most people know someone that suffers with this terrible disease, and currently not a lot can be done to prevent it and there certainly isn't a cure as yet.....this is why they need more money for research and treatment so that one day maybe there will be a cure and we will have been a part of that!  Thanks in advance.......watch this space!

I have done fantastically so far, because of the huge support I have recieved from ALL of my family, friends, colleagues and even people I don't really know!  We have managed so much in just two weeks!  Need to just push a bit more to get to the target!  Please keep supporting me and I promise I'll do you all proud!
