As a number of you know I have entered this year’s London Marathon on Sunday 13th April. I thought it shouldn’t be to difficult to run 26 miles but half way through my training I can now see why the car was invented!
Actually I will be running for a more noble cause than just me as I am raising money for Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes. I am delighted to offer my support to a local hospice after seeing at first hand the fantastic support given to my mother-in-law, Kath, whilst in care at a similar hospice in Hull. So in for a penny, or rather £1,500, and a call for help to all colleagues and friends.
Thanks for all your support, as I know we all get asked to help with lots of good causes, and I am sure lots of small amounts will see me up to and beyond my target.
You never know you might even see me on TV or better still how about coming down to London for a great day out.
Al.
