We fund life saving medical research to beat the world's biggest killers.

Story

Hi Everyone,

I managed to complete the race in 1 hr 50 mins 09secs which is 8 minutes faster than my last half-marathon so I am well pleased!

As I mentioned, I ran the race in memory of my Dad, also Allan, who died in March 2005 and Pauline (Nanny Carpy), my wife's Grandmother who died just after Xmas 2007, both from heart related illnesses.

Thanks to everyone who has made a donation. I originally planned to raise £600, however we have smashed that., however you can still make a donation through this site before the deadine which is 31st October.

A special thanks must go to Sarah Davies at Fitness First in Coventry for all her efforts in promoting this event and for her fiance Simon for helping designing and printing the posters in the gym.

Next stop - The Flora London Marathon on the 26th April 2009.

Thanks again.
