Since 2010 I’ve been blessed with working as a volunteer for Caudwell Children’s charity, which provides a range of support for sick and disabled children in the UK. In two years I have raised over £2,200 with the help and support of generous friends, family, colleagues, Mothercare Plc and Healing and Keelby church.

 

I have set the challenge of raising £1,200 in just 8 weeks!

 

Cakes will be baked, bags will be packed, bulbs will be sold, and Sunday mornings will be spend in rainy farmer’s fields with an open car boot … but here is your chance to help from the comfort of your own home!

 

The money raised goes Destination Dreams 2012 which takes 25 families on a special trip to Florida’s Disney World complete with accommodation, flights and a dedicated medical team. For many families its their first holiday together as complex medical conditions and financial burden can make even a day trip impossible. I've witnessed the benefits that this trip makes to the wish children, their families and siblings. It not only gives them a holiday but a much needed break from constant hospital visits and stays.
