Story

Hello and thank you for finding yourself on my just giving page.Well after 25 years plus of having the idea of walking the Santiago de Compostela the time has finally come.I feel I am being propelled to take on this pilgrimage so strongly I cannot ignore it.After a series of many very high ups and many very low downs in the last few years personally within myself and my life, I feel this is the time.I was recently reminded again of walking the Camino by a very dear man Maurice who walked it when he was 76.On meeting him I knew I had met a real earth angel.Sadly he passed away in February but by God his spirit is also propelling me forward.Another dear man I met through Macmillan had a huge impact on me. Marthino xAgain another earth angel showing me to really enjoy life and to make the most of it each and every moment.Seeing the beauty and magic so clearly even through his suffering.A true inspiration x For any of you that don’t know me I am a Therapist for 25 years and have volunteered for Macmillian over the last 5 years offering Reflexology.I have a clinic in the heart of st ouens bay and find the greatest pleasure meeting all walks of life and helping them through giving treatments.I am blessed to be a mum of 3 children Gabriel, Marley and Sienna xxxI am blessed to have a caring and loving husband who understands my quirky ways and has given me a green card to fulfill my dream of walking the Camino whilst he holds the fort at home. I know this walk will have such a positive outcome on many levels personally but I also would love to make a difference for many others. Macmillan truly is an amazing charity and the centre cocoons you as soon as you enter.I have seen so many people leave there in a completely different light after talking, receiving treatments etc and I really would love to raise as much as I can to fund this truly amazing charity as without it there would be much more suffering.
