Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

we are afraid to say that due to unforseen circumstances Amanda is no longer able to Climb Ben Nevis on the 4th of June. So Julia is going it alone and needs your support more than ever!!

Ben Nevis is the largest mountain in the United Kingdom and Julia is continuing with the fitness training and walking on average 14 miles a week

Thank you to all our sponsors including Timberland for all our equipment and Warners Leisure for the Gym memberships and especially all those of you that have donated money to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Julia and Amanda Fundraisers for Marie Curie Cancer Care in Somerset & Dorset say "We are always advising people on how to raise monies for the charity so we thought it was about time that we did some fundraising of our own and for people that that always hated sports day at school this is quite a personal challenge for both us us"

All monies are raised will go towards the Marie Curie Cancer Care nursing service who care for cancer patients in their own homes when the diagnoses has changed from cure to care. This service is free of charge to the patient and their families and available 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor us now! Many thanks for your support. Julia x
