COSTA RICA 10-DAY TREK

Maybe I don't know what i'm letting myself in for but whatever it is will certainly be a challenge.

I will be trekking for 10 days through Costa Rica, which is home to 5% of the planets biodiversity, everything from palm tree-lined tropical beaches to smoking volcanoes, cloud forest, rainforest and mangrove.  The trek will take me through coffee plantations and oak forests deep into cloud forest and dense tropical rainforest.

And I'll be walking my little size 3 socks off to raise money for Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity.

Rays of Sunshine has three key objectives:-

1) To make wishes come true for terminally and seriously ill children between the ages of 3 and 18 throughout the United Kingdom;

2) To buy vitally needed equipment for the children or the hospitals, hospices and specialist schools that care for those children;

3) To make major capital grants to hospitals, hospices and specialist schools to help increase the facilities for the care of terminally or seriously ill children.
