The need for your help in the effected region is urgent. An estimated 3m people have been left homeless as a result of the 7.6 magnitude quake on October 8. Of these about 500,000 are yet to receive any aid because of extreme difficulties in reaching remote valleys blocked by landslides.
About 1.6 to 2.2 million children in regions devastated by the earthquake are at risk of death from cold, malnutrition and disease, UNICEF said.
