You've probably never heard of retinitis pigmentosa. It's a hereditary eye disease which has the effect of tunnel vision. The eyesight of those who have it deteriorates as they get older - often leaving them with very little sight by the time they reach middle age. Many of Carole's family have RP. We need to do something to try to help find a cure.

Peter is planning to take part in the sponsored trek to Iceland in July 2011, but we aim to raise money in a range of ways over the next few months.

Update - 10 July

Well, we're nearly there! 5 days til the trek, and already we're at 92% of our target! We've sold raffle tickets, done car boot sales, climbed mountains, walked on water (well, nearly!), and asked, cajoled and occasionally  begged for sponsorship. The response has been magnificent. Thanks to all who have helped. Of course, we're not finished yet, so if you know of anyone who might like to help.....well, you know what to do!
