Anaphylaxis is a risk to those of severe allergic reactions, in which blood pressure falls dramatically and restricts breathing by the swelling of the throat and can be fatal. A small number of people die each year as they are not aware of the symptoms or have the medication at hand.
I chose the Anaphylaxis Campaign because unfortunately my 4 year old son Scott (Bam Bam) experienced the effects first hand when - not knowing he was allergic - he tried a cereal containing peanuts, he had a reaction and required an adrenaline injection to resuscitate my him. He now has to carry 2 epi-pens at all times.
I will macth up to £350 raised, so please dig deep and donate now. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure directly to the charity, plus they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
