Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This summer my family and I were thrilled to host 4 young Bellarusian children for 2 weeks on a respite holiday following the Chernobyl disaster 25 years ago. The Chernobyl Children Project assists in visits like this across the whole country and was an absolute roller coaster of fun, noise, confusion and many tears on their departure. CCP also sponsors orphanages, humanitarian aid, education, training, children living with a disability and cancer and so much more. It is my hope that we can do the same next year, so I need your cash to help. Our group needs to raise £7500 of which we have currently raised £390. So to help raise funds I am running in the Bradford City Half Marathon on Sunday 17 October 2010 in the 50+ section (I know you will find it hard to think I have reached my half century!) and any help you can give will be greatly appreciated
