Since 2005 I have made many visits to Ukraine, both in a professional and personal capacity and enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of its people.  

To see what is happening to them in their country has moved me deeply and I have decided to do what I can just as so many others are doing at present.

At this critical time in Ukraine's history the need for trained health professionals is acute and will remain so for the foreseeable future. 

I believe that these people emergency healthcare and they deserve the best that we make available to them.

UK Med's medical teams are already responding  to the crisis in Ukraine,  but funds are desperately needed to help them continue this work.

I hope that my fasting can raise some money to help UK Med help those in such a desperate plight in Ukraine.
