Dear rich Friends

I've been persuaded to run the London Marathon in April to raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis resource centre with a group of former Oxbridge blues (many of you will remember Alistair Hignell who is the patroon of the MSRC) .This is a big ask for an overweight arthritic 52 year old and I need all the encouragement I can get .If you are generous enough to sponsor me I will be committed and have no excuse for not fulfilling my duty to the cause . For some of you (you know who you are) this is pay back time for my very generous sponsorship of your jollies across the Atlantic etc
