The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Hello! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me for Guide Dogs. This is the most efficient way for me to raise money for the BBC Radio Leeds Pound for a Pup appeal. We're funding five guide dogs in West Yorkshire. Your donation will really make a difference and every single penny helps.

I've already raised £560 for Guide Dogs doing the Great North Run on Tyneside in September - that's a half marathon. The London Marathon on April 18th 2004 is the full 26 miles, with the added catch that I'm wearing a tail and ears (seriously)!! Please give as much as you can. If you're a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support. Best wishes, Andrew
