Story
Moving Mountains in aid of Marie Curie
On the 10th October I will be heading off to the Himalayas where I will be attempting to climb to the summit Mera Peak, which stands at 6476m in height.
David Palmer and Phil Johns will be joining me on this expedition which will take us 24 days in total to complete.
We will be climbing in -20 conditions at high altitude, with ice axes, crampons and tents all the way and not to mention snow, lots of it.
The view from Mera Peak is one of nature's most immaculate designs with Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kangchenjunga and Ama Dadlam all in it's sights.
I have been training all year for this expedition, from my first ice climb back in February up in Scotland to the many weekends spent in Snowdonia and the Peak District, along with the various 5 & 10k fun runs and I even managed to take place in a one day rugby 7's tournament to help with the fund raising.
And this is where you come into play as I NEED YOUR MONEY to help raise funds for Marie Curie and help those who face real challenges each and every day and without YOUR MONEY wouldn't be able to carry out the good work and support they give to our loved ones and friends in their time of need.
So please give generously and thank you for your support and understanding.
May your God be with you.
Kind regards
Andrew.
