Story

Despite my total lack of fitness, I have decided to participate in a charity hike in May.  All proceeds go to Oxfam, who will give the money to developing countries and relief programs (http://www.trailwalker.jp/en/fundraising/how_the_money_is_used/

The hike is 100km long and each team of four only has 48 hours to finish.  http://www.trailwalker.jp/en/aboutus/event_information/   It is not a relay race.  Each team must start and finish each section together and walk the entire 100km which means two days of straight hiking with only a short breaks for naps.

As preparation I am also doing a half marathon charity run in mid-April.

This will be my most physically challenging goal ever but it is for a good cause and I hope everybody will support me!

Thanks,

Andy
