Story

Due to the sudden death of a very close friend the walk has been postponed until next April.

Thanks to those who have donated already. The money has gone direct to H4H.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

I'm starting about midday on Friday 16th October and I'm going to walk the West Highland Way ( www.west-highland-way.co.uk ) which is 95 miles long starting just north of Glasgow and ending at Fort William late on the Monday afternoon (fingers crossed) with a backpack to carry all my provisions and camping out along the way.

On the Tuesday I'm going to scale Ben Nevis and that night I'm going to reward my efforts with a couple of pints in an local establishment, returning home on the Wednesday.

I've been meaning to do this walk for some time now and discovering the Help for Heroes charity and seeing others doing good work fundraising to help our wounded has given me the motivation to go ahead and raise money for a worthwhile cause.

I'm doing this alone but if anyone cares to join me please feel free to come along.

But more importantly, PLEASE DONATE

Thank You
