Fundraising for Voluntary Service Overseas
Story
Thank you for visiting our VSO fundraising page. Through VSO we are going to St Francis' Hospital ( www.saintfrancishospital.net ) in Zambia this October.
Although volunteers receive just a living allowance while abroad, it costs VSO £15,000 a year to recruit, train and support each volunteer. Despite funds from the British Dept for International Development, VSO is heavily dependent on charitable donations to continue its unique work with some of the poorest people in the world.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation to VSO.
Your donation goes to VSO, not us! and ensures other volunteers can be sent to continue the work for a fairer world.
