Am I in a dream world or delusional? Maybe both. I haven't done any cycling for 20+ years, so this is not only a big personal challenge, but it gives me the opportunity to do something for a very worthwhile charity, Help the Aged. Is that self help? I don't think I'm quite to that point yet although others may beg to differ.

So, after many years of body abuse, the fitness regime has begun, although it has just been put on hold due to getting gout. That about sums up my lifestyle. Please give me the incentive I need to train harder by helping me reach the donation target I have set. Any amount however small would be greatly appreciated by me and the charity.
