Firstly, many thanks to those who helped me raise just under £3,000.00 last year as a debutant at the British Transplant Games. Last year I got a bronze in the 800m and silver in the high jump. This year I’m back, stronger and with more desire for gold!!

This is a joint fundraiser for two events:

European Games - 29th June to 5th July. This is a different organising committee to the British Games and it is only open to the heart and lung transplantees, so this I am aiming high in this tournament. Here I am doing 100m, Long Jump, High Jump, Boules and team Volleyball. If I impress, maybe ill make the grade for the World Transplant Games, who knows?!?!

British Transplant Games - Same event as last year, being held in from 19th August to 22nd August. I am entering the 100m, Long Jump, High Jump, Squash and team Volleyball. I am also trying out my hand at bobsleigh.

So I would be ever so grateful for your support, please be clear, I am paying for the majority of my travel / accommodation etc, this is not a fundraiser so I can go off enjoying myself.......

You all know the real reasons for me doing this is to raise awareness of ORGAN DONATION. Please please please, no matter what you do, sign the register to become an organ donor. Remember the stats; you are more likely to need a transplant than ever have your organs used by others. To put it simple, I wouldn't be alive if it wasn’t for the generosity of my donor, so please, make a big difference today and sign up...!
