Well what started as an off the cuff remark over a few beers on Andys 30th birthday has now become reality and Rob, Chris, Andy & Paul are running the 2009 London marathon in aid of Crimestoppers. As all of us are serving Kent Police officers, the obvious charity of choice was crimestoppers as we get to see the difference they make to the ongoing fight against crime. We therefore ask for your donations, no matter how big or small as they will all help in aiding crimestoppers fantastic work to continue.

As this is the first time any of us have attempted the marathon we have set ourself a "provisional"  (and probably unobtainable) target to try and complete the course in about 4 hours although as it stands now we will all be happy if we just finish it.
