We are here for anyone with epilepsy, their families, carers and employers. We campaign for improved healthcare and an end to stigma, influence policies that will affect the health, educational and social welfare of people with epilepsy and provide quality information and support services.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!!

I will be running the 10km at the Great Scottish Run on 6 September - if you know me at all you will know that to complete this will be a major achievement indeed!!

Epilepsy Scotland is a very worthwhile charity close to me and my family as our daughter Laura (who is now 17) was diagnosed 7 years ago with a rare form of the condition but has suffered seizures for almost 12 years.

However, we consider ourselves lucky;  Laura's seizures are infrequent and other than this she enjoys as normal a lifestyle as possible.

As I am sure you will appreciate this is not always the case, many people who suffer this condition do so to varying degrees and it is through organisations such as Epilepsy Scotland that advances in care for people who suffer from this condition can be made.

Your donation to this cause will be very welcome indeed. Donating through JustGiving.com is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Epilepsy Scotland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
