Story

Thank you for visiting the GB & FM Help for Heroes fund raising page

Following on from last years Band of Brothers Bike ride in May where Andy Nicholson, Ben Burgess, Howard Boville, Colin Little, Simon Blagden & Mark Weeks cycled in aid of Help for Heroes. They were truly inspired by the charity and the people they met on the ride and the journey they were on, so much so they have decided to get involved again.

We have brought together a new team to take part in the Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2010.

This year the team comprises of Andy Nicholson, Howard Boville Simon Blagden, David Daniel, Buddie Ceronie & Brad Lovegrove

In the last week of May 2010, the team will join 300 cyclists and gather at HMS Victory, the Flagship of Britain's greatest wounded hero, Admiral Lord Nelson. They will set off to ride 350 miles across France.

The route for the ride itself is being finalised but they will ride through beautiful Norman and Picardy countryside, stopping at historic sites to remember those who have fought and died there. We then finish at Dunkirk on the 70th anniversary of the evacuation, accompanied by the flotilla of little ships.

Please help them raise lots of money for this great cause to support our current wounded heroes.
