Angela Peterson-Barnes, a 47 year old mother of one from Godalming is desperately trying to raise the £4670 required to purchase an automatic page turner that will allow her to continue her study of Crystal Healing, in addition to resuming ‘A’ levels and then hopefully a degree.

Angela, a tetraplegic, is unable to turn the pages of books and magazines following an accident in 2006 that left her paralysed from the neck down. She now needs the assistance of a full time carer in addition to the fabulous support provided by her family.

Without the page turner, study for Angela and the possibility of developing new skills that may lead to a new career will be impossible. The page turner will also enable Angela to read books and magazines for pleasure – something most of us take for granted.
