My next adventure begins at the end of September when I will be attempting the fairly arduous trek to the top of Africa and the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro, the world's highest freestanding mountain.  And yes, while a bunch of celebrities managed it, the success rate can still be as low as 40%.

The climb will be in aid of ACE Africa who do a fabulous job of caring for and educating those infected or affected by HIV/AIDs in Tanzania and Kenya through agricultural, educational, nutritional and pychosocial support.  You can find out more about how they do this at www.ace-africa.org

I know, I know, it's still the credit crunch but pleeeeease support and encourage both ACE Africa and me by digging as deep as you can to raise that valuable funding. Every donation, no matter how little, is hugely appreciated.
