Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I think i have finaly gone mad with my latest challenge but for such a good cause i just had to give it a go.  I have managed to persuade a friend to do this with me, Fiona Long (Andrew's wife).

We have signed up to do a challenge of a lifetime! It's some 300km of cycling through the desert and we need to raise a minimum of £2,500 each to take part.

The fundamental aim of Women for Women is to improve women's health and to ensure that more women have a normal pregnancy and a healthy baby. Women for Women is administered by the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecolgoy Trust. Professor Winston is Chairman of both the Trust and Women for Women. He is calling for women from across the UK to join Cycle Jordan to raise funds to continue ground-breaking medical research.

Please have a look at the web sites, they will show you exactly what we will be up to!

Up to 250 babies are dying every week in the UK from complications during pregnancy. Hard to believe isn't it.

If you can help by making a donation we would be very grateful!! Our training has started! Thanks for your support

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Women for Women gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now! Thank you!!
