We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Over the weekend of 16-17 August 2008, I will be joining a group of friends from Kent to climb the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon) on behalf of the Alzheimer's Research Trust.

The Alzheimer's Research Trust is the UK's leading charity for research into Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Before he passed away, my grandad suffered from Alzheimer's disease and I am doing this in his memory. The disease is a distressing one both for the sufferer and their family, and the Research Trust needs sponsorship in order to continue their good work.

This will undoubtedly be the hardest physical challenge that I have done, and I very much hope that you will be able to give generously.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.  If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support.
