Some of you will already know that this year I am giving as much time as I can to Oxjam Chiswick, helping to raise money for Oxfam by marketing the event.

Oxjam Chiswick forms part of the nationwide Oxjam month of music, which runs through the whole of October.  Oxjam is a festival with a difference: thousands of fundraising music events are put on by ordinary people - from large-scale festivals to local sponsored busks - making it the biggest line up of any music festival in the UK.

Everything we do is funded by ourselves, that is we spend our time doing fundraising activities like car boot sales, pub quiz nights, silent auctions etc.  All the promotion of the Oxjam event is funded by the money we raise, that way all ticket sales go straight to helping Oxfam.

Living Below the Line is one of our biggest cash generators, and at the same time we get to know how it feels to be constantly hungry as we live on £1 a day for a week.  That means £7 for the entire week... no using anything we already have.  That's tough I think!
