Story

We are braving the shave!!!

The recent gale force winds has damaged a kennel block at our centre which means we are now replacing the roof! But with our influx of lockdown animals coming into our care, we are running out of space and our time & resources are limited to rectify the damage caused!!

Myself (Ashley, animal care assistant) & Yasmin (supervisor NAWT Hertfordshire) are braving the shave to raise the funds needed to replace the roof and any excess will go towards making our other kennel blocks more sustainable from weather wear & tear!!

We will be shaving our hair down to a number 2 on the 11th June and donating our hair to ‘The Little Princess Trust’ which is a charity that creates wigs from real hair for children under going chemotherapy.

Please show your support for both of these deserving charities by sponsoring us as little or as much as you can!!

(Remember to add gift aid too as it gives us more in donations at no extra cost to you!!)

Thankyou for helping to keep NAWT alive, because at NAWT, we never stop caring 🐾💙

National Animal Welfare Trust is a Rescue and Rehoming charity; caring for and rehoming up to 1300 animals a year. We care for animals who find themselves homeless through no fault of their own, bring them back to good health, train them and finally find them a loving forever home. We never stop caring and are here as long as an animal needs us, offering continued support to everyone that rehomes a pet. Our mission is to promote responsible pet ownership throughout the UK so that one day every pet might have the responsible owner they deserve.
