Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As you may have heard, I am cutting my hair off (not shaving, just the pony tail!) and donating it to Wigs for Kids, a charity that collects real hair donations to make wigs for children that may have lost it through alopecia or severe cancer treatment.

I then decided that why stop at just one charity, when i can raise money for another!

So here we are! I have chosen The National Deaf Childrens Society as for those of you that may not know, I am deaf in my left ear and have been all my life. It took the doctors six years, three ops and countless hearing tests to finally diagnose what we believed to be wrong in the first place. This was due to lack of medical advances of the times then. Now days all the doctors do is insert a monitor into new born babies ears, and any deafness is picked up  straight away, how amazing is that!

So like all charities, they need sponsors to help with these advances and perfect the knowledge and treatment available to all children and adults.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The National Deaf Children's Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donations
So please sponsor me now!
