We support 2 great causes to help injured RL players and beat cancer!

Story

On Sunday 21st September, I will be setting off on a 242 mile walk alongside Steve Prescott and a group of others as part of the Steve Prescott Foundation Rugby League Walk Against Cancer.

Steve, an ex-Hull FC and St Helens Rugby League player, is 34 years old. He has a rare form of cancer called pseudomyxoma peritonei. He is currently doing well and hopefully he can continue to fight the disease.

The walkers will be visiting 23 Rugby League grounds along the way, in order to raise money for the RFL Benevolent Fund and Christie's Hospital, where he is being treated.

The walk will begin at Hull KR's Craven Park before heading off to Hull FC's KC Stadium before ending Day 1 at Hull Ionanians, Brantingham Park. The rest of the route will take us through Castleford, Featherstone, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Batley, Hunslet, Leeds, Keighley, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Rochdale, Oldham, Swinton, Leigh, Wigan, St. Helens, Widnes, Warrington, and Salford before finishing at Old Trafford on October 4th - the day of the Super League Grand Final.

In order to take part in the full Walk, I need to raise as much sponsorship money as possible. The target is £1000 and hopefully I will be able to do this.

Please dig deep and help me achieve my target. Anything you can give is appreciated, no matter how little.
