Story
I'm running the inaugural Brighton Marathon on the 18th April 2010 raising money for Rainbows Children’s Hospice.
Rainbows hospice for Children and Young People provides specialist respite, palliative and end of life care to children and young people with life limiting or life-threatening conditions and support to their families and friends.
The reason I chose Rainbows is because I have always been quite a lucky person and often take this for granted. This is my chance to raise some much needed funds to help children and young people who have not had such good fortune.
I have visited the hospice, met the staff and seen what they do. The standard of care is very high and the work they do for these children and their families is absolutely phenomenal.
So please help me hit my target of £500. Even if it’s just a pound (or two) - it’s all very much appreciated and if you leave me a message of good luck this will really help me mentally prepare for my task ahead.
Thanks everyone!
Ash
