Hello everyone. After a couple of years of saying I would never attempt the marathon, I have succumbed and will be running 26.2 miles around Edinburgh in late May.
This is the one and only time I intend to do this, so I thought I'd also take the opportunity to raise some money for a good cause - and Great Ormond Street Hospital was the best cause I could think of.
Please give generously. After this I promise I won't be pestering for more sponsorships for a very long time.
If anyone's interested, I will be running at 8m30s per mile pace, which should see me getting round in about 3h42m, although I'll be happy to just get round.
