HOPE is the most experienced third sector Autism specific service offered in North Lanarkshire. It provides groups for young Autistic people and their siblings, running a range of successful, fun, and educational activities,, building up their self esteem and confidence to make friends.

Story

I grew up with a mild case of Autism. Naturally I found somethings difficult, luckily though I met an amazing woman who sacrificed her time and gave me the support needed to build up my self esteem, communication skills and the confidence to go on and live a happy full life. I've recently volunteered at The Hope for Autism Centre in Airdrie and have been blown away by the dedication, love and support shown to the kids and their families that go there. My two friends Graeme Peat & Craig Cunningham have agreed to join me in the challenge to walk The West Highland Way to give something back and to keep this vital work continuing. As three young fit men we should be up to the challenge....should be. Through these trials and tribulations we are hoping to raise 2,000 pound for the hope for autism centre. So wish us luck and give very generously, as there couldn't be a better cause. The work these people do in this place is fantastic and deserves every penny!
