The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Guide Dogs gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

This will be My (Brian) 7th marathon but Martin and Christophers first. It is also quite unique as I don't imagine there will be many other "father and two sons" teams. As Christopher will be 18 on the 1st of March, he will be one of the youngest on the run that day (you have to be over 18).

Our main fund raising effort this year will be to organise a 1/2 marathon and fun run in Brechin and full details can be found at www.whitecaterthunrace.org.uk

Over the last five or six years we, as a family, have raised over £10,000 for the guide dogs with the help of all our freinds, family and work collleagues. We have also been well supported by a number of local and national companies as well as Tisbury Lodge in Knightsbridge London.

I would like to thank everyone who has sponsored us in the past and hope that this year is just as generously contributed too.

Thanks to everyone who helped set up the White Caterthun half marathon and that includes the ones that just gave me encouragement as well. But the biggest thanks goes to everyone who turned up and ran on the day and raised money as well.

Many thanks

Brian, Martin and Christopher.
