Story
We are running the Great North Run half marathon to raise money for the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths, in memory of our son and nephew Oliver, who died suddenly 4 days after his first birthday. He was such a happy and wonderful baby, and our lives fell apart that day, and will never be the same again.
Sudden Infant Death can happen to any family, and is still all too common in the UK. We never thought it would happen to us......
FSID sponsors vital research into tragedies such as ours, as well as offering support to bereaved families.
Our training is going well (there are some amongst us who had never run before!!) and we have such great motivation we'll get there in the end!
We are all so grateful to our friends and family who have been generous enough to sponsor us.
Love from
Victoria and Giles (Oliver's Mummy and Daddy)
Charlotte and Jonny (Oliver's Auntie and Uncle)
Catherine and Jo (Oliver's Aunties)
