A Head Shave · 5 September 2012

There are 14.7million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the country's leading neurological centre, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.

Story

Hi everyone. I'm doing this head shave to raise money for the Brain Appeal. My son, Dammar, had a significant brain bleed and was admitted to the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and if it wasn't for them he wouldn't of survived. I just, really, want to do something to help and show that I appreciate all they have done and, still, doing for him. They are trying to raise 2 million pounds to put in another 2 operating theatres. Please help me to raise some money for them. Every penny counts. The National Brain Appeal (formerly the National Hospital Development Foundation) is the charity dedicated to raising funds for The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, one of the world’s leading neurological centres.
