15th June 09 - Yeeeessssss!! We did it!! Not only did we do it, we broke our record by 1hr 53 mins and achieved an overall walking time of 7hrs 6mins!
Following two impressive runs down Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan we are feeling the pain but it was all worth it. We will post a photo soon. Thanks too to all the team for supporting each other throughout the day.
A big thanks to all those who have and still intend to sponsor us and Ty Hafan Hospice. There is still time to help us reach our massive target for a very good cause.

The picture shows four members of the team presenting our final cheque of £6000 (inclusive of offline sponsorship raised and Gift Aid) to Ty Hafan at their Hospice. This was the highest amount raised for Ty Hafan's 3 Peaks Challenge 2008 by a single team. We would very much like to thank all our sponsors for their kind support for the 2008 event on behalf of Ty Hafan. Raising £6000 was just unbelievable and demonstrated that, despite a difficult economic climate, sponsors felt strongly that they would like to support this good cause.
We hope that you will be able to support the Hospice this year and every pound counts!
Team Bandes have this year set the challenge of knocking an hour of last year's time for climbing the 3 Peaks!!! Uh Oh and we are not as fit!!
