We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

On the 3rd of May 2007, our Mum, Barbara Dawson sadly passed away after suffering with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

She was a wonderful mother and so to honour her and to raise funds for Leukaemia Research (a charity to which she herself donated monthly), we (Stuart and Ian joined by our good friend Adam) will be running the Bupa Great South Run 2007.

The Bupa Great South Run is a 10 mile run around Portsmouth . Yes, 10 miles. Ouch.

This will be no mean feat; Stuart is a hopeless sportsman and has no running experience whatsoever, Ian has played a bit of football and completed a 10K race and although Adam is a fairly experienced runner (he has completed two marathons) he has done little exercise for approaching 10 years - we will certainly be relying on his army background to kick us into shape if we start to slack!

The aim of this run is to raise as much money as possible for Leukaemaia Research, so whatever you can give, as little or as much will be immensely appreciated.

Many thanks for any support you can give.

Stuart, Ian & Adam
