Story
From 26th – 28th August a team of six of us will be competing in the Enduro Challenge London to Paris triathlon to uphold the honour of Barclays Capital and raise money for Dreams Come True Charity.
Between us we will run 85 miles from London to Dover, swim the Channel and cycle 180 miles from Calais to Paris. Surely that amount of physical exertion must be worth a few pounds, so please sponsor us now!
All the money we raise will be put towards fulfilling the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children such as the following.
James, aged 14, was born with an incurable condition affecting his skin which is so fragile that any knock or rub can cause agonising blistering, tearing and permanent damage. James’ dream is to go on safari to and see some of his favourite animals in the wild.
Daniel, aged 9, has a rare chromosome disorder meaning that he has severe physical disabilities, profound learning difficulties and requires continuous care. His dream is to have a specaily adapted bike to enable him to be more independant and play with the other children in his street.
The average cost of a dream is £3000, so please dig deep and help us to make lots of dreams come true. For more information about the charity please visit www.dctc.org.uk
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Dreams Come True Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor the team now!
Many thanks for your support.
